For the third release of the Sweden Rock collaboration. Sweden Rock 17 Single Malt Bourbon Cask follows up the previous years' appreciated releases and is a unique whiskey that adds flavour to this summer's most hard rock party.
It is no coincidence that the drink has clear characteristics of American whisky. There are simply some countries that in various ways have had extra significance for the history and development of rock.
The USA is one of these countries and that is why we have given Sweden Rock 17 Single Malt Bourbon Cask.
Nose: Inviting aroma of soft vanilla and lightly toasted oak combined with pear caramel and fudge.
Taste: Well balanced with a natural sweetness of vanilla character. It also has additional flavour nuances of spiciness and sweet dried fruits like raisins and figs.
Summary: Round and complex with a silky smoothness.

The Sweden Rock Story
Sweden's largest festival has sold out in recent years. Hosting artists such as Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe and Toto. All of whom have performed in Sölvesborg at the festival. In addition to the festival and its own magazine, it has also become successful in the beverage industry with launches of its own Scotch malt whisky, rum, beer and red wine.
Mackmyra and Sweden Rock Festival have long talked about collaborating, but it was only when they visited Mackmyra's Bodås mine and then the Gravity distillery in Gävle that the idea became a reality.
Together they chose casks and with the help of Mackmyra's internationally renowned Master Blender, Angela D'Orazio, who then was able to put her personal touch to find a unique whisky character for each limited edition.
